Accessibility

At Finnish Design Shop, we are dedicated to providing an accessible digital experience for everyone. We recognize the importance of equal access and strive to achieve conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across our website, www.finnishdesignshop.com.

We continuously evaluate our digital assets using accessibility tools to ensure the best possible digital experience for our customers. Accessibility is also a central component in the development of new features. Improvements to our site’s overall usability include adaptations for individuals who rely solely on a keyboard for navigation, those with specific vision needs, and users of assistive technologies such as screen readers.

Our website employs industry-standard techniques, but does not yet fully comply with all accessibility requirements. In some instances, background and foreground colors do not have a sufficient contrast ratio. Additionally, not all buttons have accessible names, not all form elements have associated labels, and not all links have discernible names.
